"I did my first trip to Mali in 2004 with a travel agency that specializes in so-called individual tours. For me, an experienced adventurer and traveller, the experiece turned out to be somewhat of a compromise.

After I met and started to know Adama and Fousseini I came back to Mali and Burkina Faso two more times. Now I have the chance to really make individual travel plans and explore this part of Africa, the country and the people, at my own pace and can spontaneously change the route if I feel like it..."
